Bambury's Angove Towel Collection was made in Turkey from a beautiful, soft cotton. The hand towel has a subtle texture and a narrow sophisticated hem just along the edges - it feels so soft and plush against the skin! The Angove collection is available in a range of colours and sizes; Bath Towel, Bath Sheet, Bath Mat, Hand Towel and Face Washer.

Care Instructions: Wash separately before use. Wash with similar colours. Warm machine wash. Do not soak. Do not bleach. Do not wash in products containing optical brighteners. May be tumble dried - warm. Warm iron if required. Do not dry clean.

    Beautiful colour an texture, but water does not absorb into the towel fibers. I machine washed it before use, but I'm sad that the "Turkish cotton" doesn't absorb moisture. Hoping another machine wash will fix this. Really disappointed.

Turkish cotton towels often need a few washes before reaching their full absorbency. During manufacturing, natural cotton fibres may retain residual finishes that initially repel water. Here are a few tips to help improve absorption:

    ✅ Wash Again Without Fabric Softener – Fabric softeners can coat the fibres, reducing absorbency. Instead, try a warm wash with a small amount of detergent.

    ✅ Use White Vinegar in the Rinse Cycle – Adding half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle can help break down any residues and naturally soften the fibres.

    ✅ Skip Dryer Sheets – Dryer sheets can reduce absorbency. If tumble drying, use medium heat without additives.

    ✅ Try an Extra Soak – Soaking the towel in warm water for an hour before washing again can help the fibres fully open up.
